The Adventure Belt is a men’s full-grain Crazy Horse leather belt made for everyday wear, travel and field use. At 40 mm wide, it has the substance of a field belt without looking like specialist equipment.

Choose the Emblem, Brand or Prong Buckle. A secure removable fitting allows all three buckle styles to be used with the same leather belt.

Complete and capable on its own, The Adventure Belt also forms the foundation of the developing modular Adventure Belt System.

About The Adventure Belt

WHAT MAKES THE ADVENTURE BELT DIFFERENT?

Most belts are finished products. The Adventure Belt was designed as a beginning.

Designed in Marlborough, New Zealand, The Adventure Belt combines a premium men’s leather belt with the foundation of a modular carrying system.

Its removable buckle fitting gives one belt three distinct characters. As the Adventure Belt System develops, purpose-built pouches, lanyards and field accessories will extend what the belt can carry without replacing its leather foundation.

The belt is complete in its own right. Its full-grain Crazy Horse leather is intended to be worn, marked and relied upon, gaining patina rather than losing character.

What begins as a substantial everyday belt becomes increasingly individual to the man who owns it.

Construction

Hardwearing edge stitching binds the full-grain leather and waxed-canvas lining securely, while screw studs reinforce the principal points of strain.

A secure removable-buckle fitting is compatible with the Emblem, Brand and Prong buckles, allowing each style to be used with the same leather belt.

Styling

The original Fortune & Glory™ brand stamp provides a restrained mark of authenticity.

The Adventure Belt is available in two leather colourways: Safari Tan and Saddle Brown.

Safari Tan gives the belt a warm ochre character inspired by the iron-rich sands of the Kalahari and the sun-baked tracks of the Maasai Mara. The tan leather will deepen through wear, set against the restrained contrast of the Emerald Green lining.

Saddle Brown takes its character from worn saddles, old timber cabins and the dark earth of the Rocky Mountains. Deep and understated from the outset, the brown leather will grow richer with age, with the Emerald Green lining adding a discreet flash of colour.

Characteristics

Crazy Horse leather is a full-grain leather selected for its strength, substance and ability to develop a rich patina.

With wear, The Adventure Belt will soften, darken and gather natural marks, making each belt increasingly individual. Natural colour variation, creasing and surface marks are characteristics of full-grain leather, not faults.

The waxed-canvas lining gives the interior additional durability and a clean, considered finish.

This is a substantial belt that feels heavy in the hand but surprisingly light when wearing it. It is hard to find a proper belt these days - I have all three buckles and changing them over takes about a minute. All I need is a flat head screw driver - too easy! I love the green canvas liner - i'm trying to see if it is reversible because the green would look really cool as a belt too! Awesome product!
